Hello, I Love You

I am going to be a photographer. I'm already a photographer, but I mean I am going to be a pro and have my own business. I am going to start as soon as I get this beauty.....

I have an SLR, and I have done some jobs here and there. Times have changed though, and a film SLR just doesn't cut it anymore. Plus I can't afford all the film developing anymore. I have developed a lot of film over the past 2 years... you know with a cutie-patootie boy and all. I have been saving for over a year now. I scrape every last penny I can (which is literally sometimes all I have), whenever I can. I am hoping I can get her soon. Not only so I can start my business, but because right now I just have an old digital camera, which I am grateful to have, but isn't exactly the best tool for a passionate photographer. Also because we don't have a video camera to record any of the billions of cute things our son does. This camera takes pictures AND video. I will have her someday. Maybe next year.... we'll see. I will continue to love her from afar till then.

RANDOMNESS

Aubin's 2 new favorite phrases: "oh no" and "oh my," both said with extreme dramatic intent! Mom's new favorite development: I can now ask Aubin to clean up his room or put his toys that are downstair in his room upstairs.... and he does it! Now that is what I call AWESOME. Aubin's take on "Tigger": "Tiga-tiga-tig-r" Aubin: "No! No! Nooooooooo!" Randomly. No one near him. Just for fun apperently. Funny kid. "Oh Mimi." Aubin always says this in the most pathetically cute voice when he's hurt or just wants attention. It's pretty cute. Not to mention comical. "Les-h-oh." How Aubin says "let's go" which he says to me every morning right after "ea!" (Eat) Aubin has discovered how to untie his shoe laces, eventhough they are double knotted, and we're still unsure of how he does this. His new favorite activity is now to untie his shoes, and then sit for an hour or so re-lacing them over, and over, and over... Whatever floats your boat! Sometime at the end of March, while non-chalantly walking by, I said "oh Aubin, I love you." And kept walking. To my surprise Aubin responded "Lu-you, my momma!" Heart melt. Aubin hands me things every now and again and says "thas for YOU." What a little helper. When people come to our home, or really any front door, Aubin loves to run over and tell them to "come IN! Come IN!" Who can resist that? Our new favorite thing is when we're talking to Aubin and we'll tell him we love him or something like that and in a totally calm and nonchalant voice he replies (often very quickly) "your CRA-AZY." Where'd he even get that?
